TRPP 5810 remote pulse generator/preamplifier
TRPP 5810 is a high-performance remote pulse generator/preamplifier device. This device combines a 40 dB preamplifier with a remote high-voltage (200 V) pulse repeater in a small enclosure, providing the best signal-to-noise ratio for TOFD detection.
TRPP 5810 ™ The unit is a high-performance remote control specifically designed for TOFD inspection, compatible with Olympus scanners, and also compatible with PV-100 and PV-200 weld inspection systems.
This integrates a 40 dB preamplifier and a high voltage (200 V) pulse generator to provide the best signal-to-noise ratio for TOFD testing. TRPP 5810 supports two UT channels and can be tested simultaneously with one or a pair of TOFD probes. TRPP 5810 can be used as a preamplifier/amplifier.
TRPP 5810 is used as a pulse generator
▪ Provide additional pulse gain to generate a stronger signal for displaying difficult to detect defects.
TRPP 5810 is used as a preamplifier
▪ Provide additional gain or broadband signal-to-noise ratio enhancement to quickly obtain the best signal in areas where the material exhibits high ultrasonic attenuation.
▪ Sensors placed in the distance can be driven by long cables.

Technical specifications:
Pulse generator
▪ A remote-controlled high-voltage (200V) pulse generator.
▪ The pulse repetition frequency of each channel can reach 10KHz at 100ns, and 20KHz at 50ns for a single channel.
▪ Pulse side output to prevent incorrect use and incorrect connection with instrument output.
Pre amplifier (receiver)
▪ 40dB preamplifier
▪ The frequency of the received probe ranges from 1KHz to 15KHz.
▪ The preamplifier has single-sided input and output protection to prevent incorrect use and incorrect connection with the instrument output.
